Board of Directors

The board of directors for SCHOLAR Birmingham is comprised of community volunteers from across the BPS district. The district is represented by the Superintendent and at least one current board trustee. The SCHOLAR trustees evaluate applications and award scholarships based on the fund’s criteria. The board wishes to thank the Birmingham School District for the administrative assistance it provides to help support SCHOLAR.

Bookmark this new page to return to your application as you work through it. Use a permanent email ID for login as you’ll receive notifications related to the process. The application link is effective for both high school and college scholarship applications.

For all high school and college applicants, there is a new process in place going forward. Please click on the "Scholar Application" button below (or to the side) to begin the process. You'll be prompted to create a login ID using a PERMANENT email address (not a bps email) at a new page with the address https://scholarbirmingham.communityforce.com/.
